He appealed to the citizens to ignore minor traffic problems for a few days, keeping in mind the national pride.
He said that during the meeting, decisions were taken after mulling over various suggestions floated by concerned departments.
The Rangers chief said that in the past, the citizens used to face difficulties during such events, but now it was hoped that they would have no complaints.
City Nazim Naimatullah Khan, who was also present at the meeting on the occasion, said that the city government had always tried its best to solve the citizen's problems and during the Expo fair, its co-operation would be exemplary.
He said that the repair work of the Karsaz Road would soon be completed. He appealed to the citizens to extend co-operation to the City Government and other concerned bodies to make the fair a success.
Deputy Inspector General of Traffic Police Yamin Khan, answering a question regarding the traffic, said that a pilot emergency centre would be established to redress the people's grievances, while the citizens could also lodge their complaints on the helpline number of 915.
He said that on February 2-3, vehicular traffic for the airport would be through the gate number 6.
He said that during the exhibition hours, the road from the Hassan Square to Stadium Road would be closed and an alternate route would be arranged.
The DIG, Traffic, said that the police had been trained to behave with the citizens politely.
